How merging works
Every page of every document is copied into one new file, top to bottom in the order listed. Page sizes are preserved, so mixing A4 and Letter gives a document with both — most readers and printers handle that without complaint.
Password-protected files must be unlocked first — the Unlock PDF tool does that.
